★CHAPTER 1★

  "The YOGA   
OF DEJECTION OF
           ARJUN

��《1-47 verses 》��

��Shloka 12

"tasya sanjanayan harsam kuruvrddhah pitamahah
Simhanadam vinadyoccaih sankham dadhmau pratapavan".

 The grand old man of the Kaurava race, their glorious grand-patriarch Bhisma , cheering up Duryodhana , roared terribly like a lion and blew his conch.

��Shloka 13

"tatah sankhas ca bheryas ca panavanakagomukhah
sahasaivabhyahanyanta sa sabdas tumulo'bhavat".

Then conches , kettledrums , tabors , drums and trumpets blared forth all at once and the noise was tumultuous.

��Shloka 14

"tatah svetair hayair yukte mahati syandane sthitau
madhavah pandavas caiva divyau sankhau pradhadhmatuh"

Then , seated in a glorious chariot drawn by white horses, Sri Krsna as well as Arjuna blew their celestial conches.
